hi 👋🏻 I’m Anna

…a green tea sommelier-in-training and travel enthusiast living in Tokyo, deeply in love with the quiet of the Japanese countryside.

After years navigating international business, burnout, breast cancer, a leg injury, and now insulin resistance, I’ve come to believe in the healing power of everyday small moments. Some might call them rituals — but that always sounds a little too culty to me.

For me, drinking tea became that daily small moment. I call it an anchor — my way of finding beauty in the everyday. I’m currently enrolled in a Japanese green tea sommelier course, studying with the Nihoncha Instructor Association from August for five months.

What is it about

I created this space to share stories from rural Japan, insights from my tea studies, and reflections on slowing down, observing more, and finding meaning in the small. Over time, I hope to offer a carefully curated selection of Japanese green teas from local farmers, as well as workshops and experiences — both online and offline.

But for now, whether you’re here for inspiration, learning, or simply a moment of quiet — welcome. The kettle’s always on.
